Question: how sure are you we are getting Jimbo?

I'm getting more sure by the day. Call it a hunch. If so, I hypothetically would expect him to reach out to current staff and prep for announcements next week after the A&M game (assuming he can get his ducks in a row).
My gut tells me he is our guy and he wants Boom as DC.
Not sure why but I am getting more and more confident something along these lines is happening.
Of course...I could be wrong.

In a perfect world I would want Jimbo and Boom. I'm a sucker for bringing our boys home. But I just have this feeling that Kelly would destroy it here with the in state talent that would perfectly match his offense.

He could hit the ground running here though. Everything is set up for him to come in and compete immediately. We might go after Muschamp, you never know.

You guys are delusional with this Boom BS! He's been horrible everywhere he's been. The only reason he was successful here was because of Saban. Think before you speak, he would be a horrible hire.

The "hold up on moving from the current staff" has everything to do with LSU and whoever the other coach is coming from having a game this weekend. Not even our AD is dumb enough to create the announcement of a specific coach while the other coach is still under contract... and has a remaining game.
