HC Tom Herman
OC- Kendal Briles/ Sterlin Gilbert
RB- Frank Wilson
WR- Tom Mangino
TE- Sean Patterson (brings his little bro)
OL- Matt Maddox

DC- Clintt Hurtt
DL- Tosh Lupoi
LB- Joey Porter
DB- Corey Raymond

Young aggressive recruiting staff that runs a 3-4 and spread run Offense. Only reaches are Tosh and Porter but just money whip them. Want to hear/ read what would be yalls coach and staff.

That's why I put Gilbert as the alternative. Runs the same offense and groomed Jimmy Gurrapalo at Eastern Illinois.

Nobody wants to take you seriously with a head coach with one year of experience.

Try Larry Fedora if you want "realistic".

Tom Herman doesn't have a lot of experience, but he seems like an excellent coach. The Ohio St. Offense has taken a major step back from where they were last year, and I think his departure is a big reason why.

I'm curious what Frank Wilson would be like as an offensive coordinator or co-coordinator.

I really like Philip Montgomery. He's sort of at an in-between stage in his career where a lot of people wouldn't feel comfortable about him being the head coach because of inexperience, but he may not want to go back to being a coordinator. Just as a hypothetical, let's say he was the offensive coordinator, I think it would probably be beneficial for a guy like him to have someone like Wilson on the staff (maybe as co-offensive coordinator) to sort of pull the O toward that gritty, old-style SEC running game at times, but not necessarily if Frank has adopted/picked up things from Miles in terms of OL play, QB runs (With Miles, dual-threat QBs don't get good designs on the runs and they often seem oddly hesitant to run. It also seems that many of the option plays are predetermined.), and conservative/predictable play-calling, because that stuff has a high likelihood of bogging down against elite talent. I think it would be ideal to keep the positive aspects of a tough running game with ball control, ball security, and rotation, while also looking for other creative/explosive offensive opportunities and improving the offensive line (development of offensive linemen since Miles has been with LSU has not been very good -- Bob Bostad could maybe be a good offensive line-centric co-coordinator).

Gary Patterson is a coach I've always liked and thought could do well with LSU, but I don't know if he wants to leave TCU at this point. I think Patterson as head coach with Montgomery and Wilson as co-coordinators (or just Montgomery as OC) could be a good mix if the relationships were right and the communication was good. From there, I think you leave it to those guys to fill in the other spots. I don't know if that's realistic, though. There are a lot of different factors involved.
