Pros:
Plenty of good food and drink
Plenty of napping
Wall to wall football
Don't have to worry about gifts
Everyone has something to be thankful for
No work the next day
Beginning of 4 day weekend

I can't think of any cons

You realize that not all companies take off the day after, right?

You forgot a PRO- no tie to having to go to church that day- in any religious tradition.

It's my favorite. I don't like the expectations of gift giving/receiving associated with Christmas.

It has always been one of my favorites along with new years because with my family they both are basically big parties with a shite ton of food.

The entire Christmas "season" can not be topped. But a single day, an argument can be made for Thanksgiving.

If you are like me and the wife, you have family members who do everything they can to ruin it. Other than that, no cons
