No Longer Hypothetical: Who should be the new OC / DC / ST Coach

Who are likely candidates for the OC/DC/ST positions? If Les survives, I think Cam, BDP, and Steele will be on the chopping block.
Sonny Cumbie Co-OC/QB TCU
Bob Shoop DC Penn State
Marty BIagi CB South Dakota State (coached ST for Southern and did an excellent job in 2014)
These would be my choices.

No up and coming coach is gonna wanna come here. It is now known the administration wants les fired. Would you go to a job where the company could clean house in a year?

How so... there are two ways this thing can go.
A) Les Miles leaves
B) Les Miles cleans house
I'm tired of talking about A, I decided to talk about B.

Meh, people always want things. Doesn't mean it is going to happen.

If I thought it gave me an opportunity above and beyond what I am getting, probably. Life's a gamble sometimes. Shoop would be the toughest pull, but not impossible. Cumbie and Biagi would be on the plane minutes after the calls.

agree to disagree. i highly doubt any assistant with options is gonna want to be part of a lame duck staff. but you are entitled to your opinion.

You think LSU is above and beyond Penn State?

Bob Shoop at penn st should be canned imo

Didn't Tubberville go undefeated at Auburn the year after he was 'replaced' by Bobby Petrino?

#14 Total Defense this year
#2 Total Defense last year
Why the hell would he be canned?

IF clm stays it does not matter what coaching changes he makes nothing else will change

Sonny Cumbie took a demotion to join TCU and makes 210k/year... I'm sure we could sweeten the pot and give him the OC title. Cam Cameron is in the second year of his contract and makjng 1.3 mill, jumping to 1.5 next season.
Shoop would cost us in the 1-1.3 mil range. Steele makes the same.
Biagi could be had cheap, cheaper then BDP's 330k/year

Isn't that Joe Robinson ST coach who we had and loved now part of the in limbo staff at South Carolina?

Miles is done.
Make your peace with it.

It seems fairly certain that he is gone...but I agree it's fair to discuss a "what if?"
So.....
IMO, the only way to save face and not damage the program is to do the coach in waiting ala Jimbo and FSU.
That's going to take away a "proven" coach and put you with either a current co-ordinator type or perhaps a Go5 head coach who values the position enough to wait.
You allow the coach in waiting to make the decisions on both coordinators (assuming he's not one) and the rest of the staff sans Wilson, Raymond and Orgeron for the 2016 season.
Miles contract is reworked to give him some financial incentive to "ride off into the sunset" after 2016 or, at worst 2017.
To be clear - I AM NOT advocating this. I am only putting it up for discussion on the hypothetical that for some reason (the leaks ruined the deal?) Les were to remain at LSU beyond the end of the season, it would be a way LSU could save some face.

I'd go after Chizik for DC with everything I've got.
As for OC, I'm not sure. We could probably pay Mike Leach more as OC than he makes as head coach at Wazzou.
