I give this guy an A for effort most of the time. He tries to do his own homework. He's a journalist covering the saints that wants to saturate himnself in game film and come up with various different perspectives a lot. I'm not sure if i can claim if his insights are correct or actually that insightful but the guy tries and is always posting random shite on coverages and schemes from his tape etc.
Right now he's doing his dennis allen film homework. stay tuned..

Any local reporter for New Orleans sports that actually tries and isn't completely clueless (I'm looking at you, Duncan) is welcome imo.

He's one of the better ones. he tries to dip into some advanced stuff. it doesnt always hit but at least he is getting his feet wet. this is the future of team coverage in sports

He and Joel Erickson (also of the Advocate) have been two of the best local guys covering the Saints in a while. Also, Scott Kushner and Brett Dawsone, who cover the Pels for the Advocate, are great as well. It's amazing how much better the Advocate's staff is than NOLA's.
