Let's do the opposite of what France is doing.

the backing off wasn't the issue. The installation of a government that was full of a sect of people that had been repressed for years under Sadamm who then we're equally as repressive is what caused the problems
What caused the problem is the US propped the Iraqi president up, then failed to make him be more inclusive. That falls on Obama.

Probably not, the violence in Islam is ingrained into scripture. It's a much harsher doctrine than Christianity even though both have an abrahamic background

My point was that France has been relatively non-intervenionist in the Middle East. Especially as compared to the US. Somehow that hasn't translated into terrorists looking at them with doe eyes.

The problem in Iraq goes back to the Brits post WWI. It's a country of three nations jammed into a cookie cutter boarder. That doesn't work anywhere but definitely not in the Middle East.

Exactly. They don't care. They just want to kill westerns.

There needs to be a fundamental movement inside of Islam if anything is going to change. Western countries can't just start killing people and expect Terrorist to go away.

Yes we can. And good luck getting that internal movement started.

Because they want more than just non-intervention. They want you dead.

Or bush?
Actually the Iraqi Prez was fairly well behaved and seemed on the right track under Bush. When this pencil head President we have now came in to office is when the coward started acting up. Why? Because he knew Obama campaigned on getting out of Iraq. He knew he could resort to ethnic lines to run the country and did just that. By the time our community organizer understood the geopolitical ramifications of the Iraqi Prez's actions, it was way too late.

Jesus Christ. The picture they're showing on Fox right now is absolutely heartbreaking.
