Could someone explain why guys get wood over sports?

I want to enjoy recruiting but wood doesn't happen. Am I doing it wrong? Fapping to recruiting seems a bit weird. I want the truth. Do guys surpress the gay and it shines through in bromances and man crushes with sports?

Getting wood is just a euphemism for being excited.
I echo your point that the recruiting board guys are creepy AF...fawning over shirtless pics of 9th grader Dylan Moses and talking about his body pretty much breaks the creepy scale.

Sports are the modern day equivalent to clashes between clans, regional kingdoms, villages, etc....
Back in the day more barbaric warriors, like the Vikings for example, would go to into battle with giant boners to intimidate the enemy.
It's where the phrase "bloodlust" came from.
So now, we get sport's boners instead.
