Harris was stuck in the toilet

why?
Because a lot of retarded lsu fans were tweeting at him asking stupid questions about the offense and if he was mad.
I truly think lsu may have the dumbest social media fanbase out there when you search any hashtag lsu related. A person loses brain cells reading that.

Mr. Franks gonna read all about it

kinda hard to let someone out when they are throwing 6 for 19...
but you know...whatever
I think its obvious when Harris plays well (see UF, USCe, etc), Miles has no problem "letting him out"

Why do these kids even use twitter and other social media; nothing good comes from it.

because they are just that...kids

Glad I have never done it

One reason players shouldn't have twitter

That doesn't fit the narrative here. Common sense isn't allowed on tRant.

Les might just shut the passing game down altogether to just prove a point.
I know that the coaches have been "bringing him along" slowly, but nearing the end of the season seems to be as good a time as any to put some trust in him and really let him go with it. What do we have to lose at this point? If our the coaches are still distrustful of the qb situation at this point, LSU is done anyway. JMO

Really? Did you see the second half of the UF game? My recollection is Harris had an outstanding first half and then the offense was put on ice and we came within a fake field goal of a tie ballgame in one in which we were truly dominating...

They want a NFL paycheck. At Bama, they get paid enough under the table to live without a NFL paycheck for a little while longer . Why did Alexander and Hawkins stay if they had so little confidence in offense? I know they're OL and not DL, but just asking. What would one say if Beckwith stays? Does the offense have any bearing on that decision?

I think they mean let him out with more than a 1 or 2 receiver set.

its been 11 years now
this is LSU's offense under Les Miles and it has been pretty successful
LSU, under Les Miles, is not going to come out 5 wide as a base offense
hell Harris specifically stated that he came to LSU because of the offense they ran because he thought it prepared players more for the NFL than spread offenses

Interesting. Harris threw the ball 10 times in the first half. In the second half, he threw it 9 times. So I guess Miles just stopped using him, right?
I hate when facts get in the way of tRant's narrative.

tRant sees a 3 and out and they immediately assume that Miles "shut the offense down"
they never think that the incomplete pass on 2nd down, that worked in the 1st half, caused the 3 and out
basically
play works = Miles is opening up the offense
play doesn't work = Miles shuts the offense down

He should have had the opportunity to throw it more in the 2nd half, I mean it's not like we were gaining yards on the run and getting killed on the score board? But, hey keep dreaming!

I have resigned myself to the fact that as long as Miles is our coach,we will never beat Bama again. Not being a negatiger, just a realist. He will NOT change the offense, and Saban has his number. I think we all knew once Harris threw that interception to start the second half, game over. He went into even more of a conservative mode. Rewatch the LSU/Kentucky game from the 2007 championship season. With Matt Flynn at quarterback, he constantly ran Jacob Hester up the middle. We all know how that game turned out. Just accept it, and move on.
