re: Does it trouble you that Miles does not see a need to change scheme?

We don't need to make a huge change to our offensive scheme. We're a power running team with a vertical passing attack. And looking at our personnel, I get why that's what we wanna do on offense. We're built for that. QB with a big arm that throws a great ball. Very good OL with a beast RB. And Dural is a speedster that can take the top off the D and Dupre is a tall, long player that can go up over defenders to make plays.
There are very few teams in the country that can stop what we want to do on offense. Almost every team in the country has to stack the box just to attempt to slow down LF, and typically are unsuccessful at that. And that also opens up the vertical passing attack.
However, when you playing against a team that has the personnel, depth, and coaching to successfully stop that(and not just stop but completely shut down), you gotta switch it up a bit and you gotta have that in the playbook already. When you can't stop the other teams pass rush, bring the WRs in tight and start attacking the middle of the field with short, quick passes. That allows the QB to get the ball out quickly and throw high % passes. Get a few first downs, sustain some drives, allow our D to rest, etc. And that will get the other teams D in their heels and could open up some running lanes.
A major change isn't needed. A few simple tweaks could make a huge difference.

Like what has been posted before, BH is not ready to attack the middle of the field with his lack of touch. Once he is our offense can be tweaked. It does not help that his WRs have dropped a few as well. Then there is CLM's post 2008 traumatic Pick 6 paranoia syndrome. A QB needs to instill confidence that the slants and passes to the middle of the field can be executed.

That is exactly right/ just some tweaks. The problem is that we looked ill prepared to adjust and that's very concerning
