I can't remember, but I think I saw it in theaters. And it's not embarrassing at all.

shite, I saw Freddie Got Fingered in theaters...so very little else would embarrass me.

It's pretty good, if you like Eminem or rap music.

Otherwise, I imagine it kinda sucks.

ill argue against you that lotto got murked, i think that was his best opponent. while he lost steam towards the end of his verse, his first couple bars where better

I'll spit a racial slur, honky, sue me!
This shite is a horror flick,
but the black guy doesn't die in this movie!
frickin' wit Lotto, dawg, you gotta be kiddin!
That makes me believe you really dont have a interest in livin!
You think these ****s gonna feel the shite you say?
I got a betta chance joining the KKK.
Or some real shite, though, I like you
That's why I didn't wanna have to be the one you commit sucide to

Those are SUPER weak lines IMO.

He turned it around after that though, for sure, as I mentioned. But the "have an interesting living" line is borderline cringeworthy.

while not the most orignial, i can give him credit for the rhyme structure.

i think him drawing comparison to him joining the KKK would be easier than rabbit getting through to the black audience was a legit line

This line is why Lickety Split lost IMO:

quote:

trailer trash, I'll choke you to your last breath
And have you looking foolish
Like Cheddar Bob when he shot himself

There's absolutely no flow or even a rhyme there. And then he just moves on to something else. Maybe the worst lines of all the battles.

And then the flow and creativity here is why B-Rabbit pulled it out IMO:

quote:

This whole crowd looks suspicious
It's all dudes in here, except for these bitches
So I'm a German, eh?
That's ok, you look like a frickin' worm with braids
These Leaders of the Free World rookies
Lookie, how can 6 dicks be pussies
Talking bout shits creek
Bitch, you could be up piss creek with paddles this deep
You're still gonna sink, you're a disgrace
Yeah, they call me Rabbit this is a turtle race

that's some Eminem level flow right there. Likety's flow was whack as frick.

Bruh...I literally said the same thing:
quote:

Lotto comes out pretty weak, but rebounds nicely with the suicide line to Rabbit and dropping the line about having a better chance of joining the KKK than Rabbit has of winning.

Me and my friend were only 16 at the time and had to talk an old lady into buying us tickets with our own money

I'm not even sure what that means.

The final battles between rabbit and his opponents I had all the lyrics memorized

I disagree that it's the worst of the battles...those belong to Rabbit with his "lickety split splickety splickety split lickety" bullshite and the " blahbedy blah blahbedy hippety hoopla" bullshite. But either way, I agree it's not a strong line and the flow is weak, but it's at least a good jab at Rabbit's padna.

I feel like this is a weak line:
quote:

So I'm a German, eh?
That's ok, you look like a frickin' worm with braids

But outside of that, it's pretty nice, and the shite's creek flip he did on him was nice. And the turtle race line is the best in the whole verse IMO.

I thought Lickety Split was weak, and legit lost. Now Lotto, on the other hand, should have pulled out the win. Future being the MC is the only reason Rabbit moved on to face Papa Doc.

I just re watched it and the carrot in asscrack line is the only solid thing Lickety says. Lotto fricking kills it with every line. Also, both Lickety and Lotto talk shite before the clock even starts, so that's something.

But talking shite isn't the actual battle. Rabbit going over once the music stops is him still battling, and cheating his arse off.

I think what bridges the gap between you and me is that I think Lickety had the best jabs, but his flow wasn't smooth or very good. Lotto is clearly the better rapper of the two, but he didn't come as hard with the lines until the second half of his rap. And Rabbit stepped his game up during that battle anyway and was gaining momentum with the crowd (he just cheated and only moved on because his padna was the MC).

Also, I figured stupid discussion about something like this would be something the board would find interesting (even if silly). But judging by the up/down votes, apparently not.
