New York Post: Tigers will lose

"In the week’s biggest game (Alabama-LSU), the underdog looks as appealing as ever. The Tigers enter undefeated and with the best player in the country, Leonard Fournette, but in two road games this season, LSU barely pulled out a two-point win over Mississippi State and struggled to put away Syracuse, while Brandon Harris had a combined 228 yards passing on 17-of-30 completions.
Against the always imposing Crimson Tide defense, which has had two weeks to prepare and who need a win to remain in playoff contention, the Heisman front-runner will turn mortal against the nation’s third-ranked run stopping unit, forcing Harris to silence 100,000-plus in Tuscaloosa, Ala. And with roughly 70 percent of the public’s action on the Tigers, it only backs up my belief in ALABAMA (-6?¹/2).
It is too early to toss away the formulas that have worked so well over the years. Because, ultimately, Slim Charles probably was right: “Game’s the same, just got more fierce.”
I think he is right if LSU is mostly relying on LF to win the game like Miss State.

This game is going to answer the question of how much has Brandon Harris actually improved. We're going to need him to make a few clutch decisions to take this one. I think he does it and finally we have a quarterback.

Serious question: I believe the Tigers win big but just how far does Bama drop in the polls with another loss at home? 12th maybe 13th is what it should be but not with the Bama Gumps that decide.

Bama will get revenge on Ole Miss
ND (-23) won't cover against UMass...ND won by 35
Checked out recent articles of theirs. Looking solid with their predictions.

This sounds like the opinion of someone who hasn't watched any LSU games this year. He's looking at box scores and trying to come up with his own narrative. GTFO with the LSU is one dimensional angle you hack.

Every single "Expert" is quick to mention Bama's 3rd ranked rushing defense, but they conveniently forget to mention LSU's 4th ranked defense in terms of rushing yards allowed on the season and 6th in yards per game. Biased much?

This is the main reason why people are sure bama will win.
They apparently have no idea about Harris's development. He tore up florida who has a better secondary than bama.

Hopefully the Tide will turn the ball over 5 times and beat themselves

Not a single word about then hanging on to beat a mediocre UT team, and edging out a shitty Arkansas team. Comical!

I THINK you are mentally retarded if you compare the game-plan of LSU against Miss State to where the LSU offense is now. Either that, or you are purposely trolling, trying to insinuate that the LSU offense in game 1, on the road in a hostile environment, is the same as it is now in week 9.

that is about the level of insight into SEC football one should expect from an NYC rag.

Didn't Bama barely win one home game and lose the other to two middle of the road teams??????? At least we won both of ours ON THE ROAD!
