and if these do ever get built, I sincerely hope we stop with building interstates right through our towns and cities

all that does it destroy those areas

Shreveport is fighting right now about the I-49 connection about whether to loop it or cut it right next to downtown

I'm all for the loop because all interstates do is create more blight when they cut through cities

Please tell me you're not serious about 49 inner City connector?! It's an absolute joke that people are actually fighting this...the propsed route would go through queens borough, which is full of run down homes & ghetto. The ICC would be the best thing to happen to these areas. But don't let progress get on the way of public housing!?! Wtf

Well aren't they just stopping it anyway and connecting it with I-220?

Where Shreveport is wanting to run I-49 is already blighted.
