He had an altercation last year too with his girlfriend. He's not mister high and mighty by any means.

I remember that. If I recall, it just seemed like that girl was more crazy than anything.
Barrett called the police, said his girlfriend refused to leave, she called back and said Barrett "choked" her and "flung" her across the room.
No medical help was sent to the apartment and no charges were ever filed.
That being said, and having had a couple buddies/roommates that played sports, so many of these guys are far from model citizens.

I'm pretty sure more details came out about this that pointed to the crazy ex type of story.
