Ok, the first time I ever heard the term 'cornball' was during the whole rg3 deal. Where the hell did this term originate?

Rob Parker used “cornball brother” as a derogatory term after he noted that Griffin has a white fiance and may vote Republican. “He’s black, he kind of does his thing, but he’s not really down with the cause, he’s not one of us,”

There is an urban definition of it now, but that is absolutely not the manner in which it was being used to describe RG3.. That really was the start of the use of the word really.. Not sure who exactly made the word up.. but Parker got fired from ESPN because of it.
