Looks like its going to be a wash out Saturday, and Jeff Parish is recommending that the kids go out Friday instead. I was planning on going to Imperial Woods Saturday. Anyone know if they'll be set up for tomorrow instead?

I don't have kids, but since EBR moved it to tomorrow night, I'll be hanging out handing out candy.

Orleans doesn't give a frick about trick or treating this year. They're the only parish that hasn't moved it to Friday. They put out a statement that people should do as they see fit or some shite.

I am. But I live in EBR and it was officially moved. Our civic leaders thought better of telling people to just knock on doors and ask for things whenever they see fit.

Might take my kids trick-or-treating in NOLA tonight.

We usually take the kids trick or treating, and then go to a driveway party at a friends house. All that got moved to Friday night. At least my whole weekend is free now.

Our neighborhood collectively decided to move trick-or-treating to tomorrow night. So we'll be taking the little ones out. It's much better for the kids anyway. I remember a few years back, when we still lived in Ascension, they didn't move it and it stormed on Halloween. I had so much left over candy even after loading up the bags of the kids that did brave the weather.
