What's impossible is for people to be any more reactionary. We're missing 4.5 of the top 10 players on the roster and coaching is the problem? Transitioning to a new scheme would have been bumpy at full strength, but there's a reason the team is dead last in rebounding % instead of top 10 (Asik) and why they look so lost on offense (Tyreke and part time Jrue). But yeah, lets declare changing schemes a failure 2 games in and with 45% of the meaningful roster out

Our last coach didn't look this terrible when we had similar injury issues...

Sure, injuries are an issue, but to act like there hasn't been major cause for concern in these 2 games is just burying one's head.

When did Monty have no PG? Vasquez and Jack could create for others. Even when Brian Roberts started half a season you still had Tyreke playing 25-35 mpg.

Through 2 games you have an average of 10.5 minutes from Jrue and unguaranteed minimum guys that weren't on a roster 2 weeks ago. The rebounding has also been atrocious (dead last in the league in rebound %) and Asik alone should hopefully be enough to turn that around, that's what he did before, that's the main thing he brings to the table.

You have a superstar that looks lost because he doesn't create his own shot and nobody is there to create shots for him. I'm not saying it will definitely work. I was team JVG but I'm willing to give Gentry the benefit of the doubt and I don't see how you can call the current results anything but inconclusive considering what they're missing. If AD looked this bad and he was a shot creator like KD or LeBron, then it'd be time to panic, but the offense not flowing when we have no play makers and the defense being terrible when we don't have any rebounding to get the ball back off of missed shots does not make me think it's time to panic.

Our last coach dropped games to the Sixers and Knicks in a 3 game stretch last year. That's about as terrible as it gets.

Not everything is wrong, just like if they win Saturday, not everything will be right. 2 out of 82 on the road with some handicaps isn't a reason to quit on the season.
