Get a Canyon or a Colorado. I think they tow up to 7K pounds. Tacomas and Frontiers won't come close to that.
The Z71 Colorados are pretty clean.

Rode in my buddy's the other day and was really liked it, his cousin got Colorado and in instrument panel and dash to looked cheap for some reason.
