The point is that it's stupid to have two gunners on the outside when the other team has no one back returning, no matter what the result of the play is.

Give some confidence to your punter by going max pretect.
Also, they slid the personal protectors to the right, they were going rugby style.

It was executed correctly. THe coaches called the wrong play. Coaches messed up by having gunners in the game, period.
