Toss in the cost of gas and the time spent to browse some shitty store, I doubt it. How many days did you cry when they closed down your beloved blockbuster, old man?

uh, really?

Video stores were all over, near my grocery store, church, office, gym, restaurants. I never went out of the way

and, uh, how long does it take to browse a "just released" title? You walk in, grab it, and go to the counter. Browsing for something to watch takes no more then, than it does navigating through an app now

But enjoy streaming those $5.99 movies instead of renting them for $2.99

You millennials sure taught Blockbuster a lesson!!!

I never knew paying for convenience was a "millennial" thing

and if we want to rent movies, we can rent them from Redbox for cheaper than Blockbuster

and Redboxes are literally everywhere, moreso than Blockbuster

This is incorrect. Do you really think Blockbuster, if still open today, would only rent out DVDs for $3? Keep in mind they have to make a profit, and there's also inflation/expenses to consider. And I'm not sure what online service you use, but I don't pay $6 to rent a movie online.

Leaving my house is out of the way enough. You should see the fit I throw internally when I have to stop for gas

9 times out of 10, when I decide to watch a movie, I am 4+ beers in and it's 10PM or later. I'll pay $5.99 over and over and over before I drink and drive.

I'm sure you pay for convenience in other ways. Get over yourself.
