What do you all think would happen if a teen charged at another teen in a fight? Justifiable to shoot him to death? Right.
Except he isn't charging another teen. He is attacking a police officer who is attempting to arrest him. Not a school yard fight. So you think that the kid is incapable of inflicting serious bodily harm to the officer?

Still think they need to fire 3/4 of the cops serving and then take the money saved and double the pay for all good cops. Hopefully would attract better human beings to the profession and not cops who feel the need to whip out their dick because someone tries to let them know that they had their bright lights on.
Kid was still in the wrong and should have obeyed the officer's commands. They did seem like lawful commands under the circumstances. Problems arise when cops start giving unlawful orders and shoot you for rightfully refusing. Didn't seem to be the case here.
I didn't see the attack on the officer so I'll assume it actually happened and the cop was justified at that point. But at some point one of 2 things will happen. We will figure out that the death penalty isn't warranted on such meaningless crimes or citizens will begin shooting cops in self defense at a higher rate figuring it's better to be alive and fight it out in court as to whether it was self defense or not instead of being dead.

Maybe he is capable. Ncwerainy capable of inflicting harm on another teen. My point is this. If a cop plays the fear for my life card, it should just as easily stand up when one teen charges another. In fact, even more so.
