Higher limits are really not that much more expensive, worth Checking into. As your assets increase so should your liability limits. Make damn sure to increase your uninsured motorist accordingly
And those with umbrella policies, check to see if it includes uninsured motorist and if not, add it

I personally have very high limits since My vehicle is in my LLC's name. It cost me over $100 more a month to have the $100k policy on it over the $20k I had before.
Insurance is crazy expensive in Louisiana.
I pay $260 a month on a Toyota Tacoma, without car rental coverage OR glass, just the policy, and UM.
