The big companies in South LA tend to be oil related, and as an employee that is witnessing layoffs and mothballing, employees would rightfully lose their shite if that happened.
It's getting really really ugly in that sector down here.

if shell had more advanced notice, they could have tied some tickets into their severance packages.
