yep. i dont really understand how anyone can say "i didnt hear many astros fans the last few years." what were we supposed to do? talk about our minor league prospects? because we actually did do that

610, 790, and 1560 have had a lot of Astros talk last season (talking about the future) and this season's success

The best part of that is I have heard stros fans call into his show and try to bring it up...what did he do? Say the same thing about him living in Houston.

Not to mention Louisiana started getting the shaft right as the team went to shite. Lost the games on the radio, Fox Sports started playing Rangers on TV, then the team started tanking. It was tough to be a casual fan even though the team was only a couple hours away.
Then you add in a rebrand, a league change and a few more crappy seasons. Feels good for the team to start picking up some fans again!

Hell I pretty much tuned out the entire Ed Wade era because I knew he was a shite GM who would run us into the ground and what do you know

It was fricking brutal to be an Astros fan through those years. This was after we saw franchise icons like Oswalt and Berkman traded.
