Please reconsider your major....If you can pass math, become an engineer. your future family will thank you for it.
LSU Math has large classes for the freshman year courses. If you are good enough, you can test out of those skipping right into "normal sized" courses.

You can do both, it's like a year extra, get two separate degrees.

For someone interested in math as a language I'd think engineering would've very boring. Physics would be a better fit, if you actually want to 'speak' math.
