In past years I would say they could. But I don't see any team in the country that could "shut down" the type of run game we have. Closest I saw were last year in both Bama and Ole Miss and we went 1-1 in that and damn near 2-0.

It's.. Just a different scheme. It's one of the reasons Arkansas was successful near the end of the season. It's a run game. But even though it's a toss dive left, most don't see the different blocking schemes and subtle differences that make it so tough to stop. It's no more different than trying to stop a tripple option team that you see once a year. How many teams face an offense like LSU per season? Just like the spread when it first came out. Hard to defend against something you only see one.

I personally feel that Alabama's front seven is the most talented in CFB and the best since LSU/Bama 2011. However they also aren't designed or schemed to stop the offense that we run. Sexy? No. Effective? Yes.

As per normal. NC/SEC comes down to LSU/Bama. Comes down to football. Comes down to more than this play or that. Way more than we could ever imagine.

I think we drop a game somewhere. Just too much talent across the board in the landscape we play. I will say we will be in the thick of things this year. We match up well with Alabama. They're just as one dimensional as we are. Don't let one performance fool you. Shut up. Run the ball. 3 yards and a cloud of dust.

LSU/BAMA o/u 28. Under. Welcome to technique football.

I can agree on much of what you've said except for bama not being schemed to stop us. They are built to stop power schemes, that's why the love big Dlinemen and linebackers. They teach 2 run a 2 gap scheme in order to control the line and give lb's they ability to penetrate. Quick footed/fast paced offenses give their scheme the most trouble.
