No they cannot. Florida should be the biggest test coming up until Alabama though.

Not really worried about Bama right now. LSU has some stiff competition coming up with SC (early game, over there, etc.) and Florida (all of a sudden a good team.)

I will say this though. If LSU doesn't get some passing game going soon, it could be a long day at Bama. Not to mention LSU's defense hasn't exactly shined through four games. 21 points to AU and Eastern Wash., 19 to MSU, and 24 to Syracuse. Not exactly dominant.

They are young though and will no doubt improve. I'm sure of that.

FWIW, I do think they can be in every game this year with an opportunity to win.

As long as they make a quality effort and have a want to win.

They can stop everything other than Fournette, but it's impossible to stop him

No. I honestly don't believe anyone will. When we execute, were pretty much unstoppable. I really believe that you'll only be able to stop LF so many times before he breaks one tackle

My only concern is that the defense continues to improve and play strong football. We're not built to play catch up, unless the WRs decide to start playing better.

they'll stack the box heavily as all teams will do and then leave their DB's on an island against our receivers.

we'll still run, but what happens if they happen to slow down LF?

Receivers have to be able to win their 1v1 matchups, which is a tall task considering they struggled with separation against EMU. Oh, but they then have to catch the ball if they're open. Tall task at the moment.

We still have 3 games before the Bama game. Lots of time to still work out the kinks. Receivers get on track and we will be fine. At least Harris is putting the ball where it needs to be in the passing game. We will be alright.

I'm more concerned about what will we do if/when they stop us. How will we translate to being effective passing the ball? I sure hope we got some kinks worked out by the Fla game.

They don't need to stop our running game. They just need to limit it to 200 yds and 2 TDs and they win.
