Last night's game was much needed. It was a deliberate attempt for LSU to pass the ball, and they learned quickly that they have some big problems to fix. If they wouldn't have had a game like that, they may not have been moved to fix anything. Sure, they should have known that, but you learn a lot at game speed. Now, they can continue to work it out over the next few weeks as they ramp up into tougher SEC play.

Receivers need to compete for the ball and make an occasional highlight reel catch. You can't just expect the ball to be thrown correctly every time. Harris still needs a lot of practice, but he really needs the receivers to bail him out sometimes when he's off target. They catch absolutely zero of the off-target passes.

Absolutely ! Chark is fast and sits on the bench while the annointed play and drop easy passes. It's time to give the fastest receiver on the team a chance. Chark is a play maker that doesn't even get a chance to show his skills.

I just hate how frustrated Dural is always acting. Even after he makes a catch, its like he shakes his head as if to say "finally." Maybe he is a little upset that hes not getting numbers like last year.

Well of course he's gonna be upset. They're playing against a 8/9 man box, and every time they take a shot deep Harris underthrows him. When it's not a deep ball Harris doesn't look even look his way and only throws to Dupree.

I would love to see Guice as one of the options with Fournette on the field.

He is a baller but just seems he got bummed about those call backs in Starkville and hasn't returned to normal.

He really does need to motivate himself.

Dural certainly did not give his best effort last night. There are some guys on the bench who needs some reps READ QUINN! Somewhere else somebody is saying Chark is in doghouse. Anyone knows anything about that one?

Dural looked disinterested to almost pouty the past 2 weeks. Missing balls right in his hands, dogging off routes-he's been a bigger hindrance to BH than the opposing defenses. Terrible performances in both games, and I wondered the same thing as posted above. He wasn't just the #1 receiver last year, he was the ONLY receiver AJ even looked at. He needs to go keep AJ company over on the sideline to see if his attitude changes.

What few weeks are you talking about?

LSU goes to Columbia this week, then gets undefeated Florida next week. Face it, we are pretty much out of 'warm-up' games. Time to put up or shut up.

We have 7 games left, and 5 of those teams have a combined 22-3 record. Hell, if we go to Columbia and play like we did last night or worse, we could lose. I'm all for shaking up the lineup if it means better production from the passing game. Not gonna win too many SEC games going 4-15 and converting only a couple of 3rd downs.

I read on another site that Chark was back talking and smarting off to Ball at some point during fall camp. He was sent to the scout team and has been in doghouse ever since.

Evident our number 1 offensive goal last night was to get the kid a TD. Think we get him a TD and his game is back on

they also need to help a little, as one of the announcers said, they need to get use their height and get the ball at the high point. how many times did see Landry and Beckham go up for the ball. Currently, our receivers give the defensive backs too might room for adjustment on the ball.

Bingo. Both of the last two games should show the players they need to work on things, that includes all the starters and backups. They still have great potential, but they have to reach it in all the remaining games.

Dural didn't seem to mind when AJ would only watch him and throw everything his way. He seems to have an issue with Fournette getting so much attention and Dupree being a better receiver.

If you want to be the star...then hold on to the damn ball when they throw it to you. If you want to whine...sit the bench for a few games until you grow up.

It's time to "man up". Either become a leader or get out of the way.

Earn Your Keep - IMHO it sounds like Dural needs to group up as well as man up. That is what you get when dealing with 18 to 23 year olds. They have to live and learn.

This thread is a joke. Dural is by far our best WR. He had a bad game against EMU. End of story. He will be coached hard this week for the lack of focus and likely have a very good game against SC. You don't just bench a guy for one bad game.

Dural looked so bad last night it was like he didn't get a good night sleep the night before. Could he have the flu or something ? He was totally off.

All our receivers need to have a reality check: you are maybe going to get 2-4 targets a game and the rest of the time, you are a blocker or a decoy. Accept your role and work to be sure handed with limited targets. Stop all this pouting and accept the reality of your team. You got Les Miles as HC and Leonard Fournette toting the rock.

its time in my opinion for the wide receiver group to be opened up to some competition where performance matters. I don't care that Chi was the #1 recruit....he has issue with dropping the ball. I don't care what Dural can do...he hasn't been doing it. Let's give some other guys a chance. In the end, performance on the field is what matters.
