There are many great finds for <$20. Depending on what you are looking for you may need to keep an open mind for alternatives but value is out there.

So it seems it is getting harder and harder to find a quality Napa Cab for <$30-35 but a great alternative is to look north to Washington and you wont be disappointed.

I had a glass of an old vine red zin the other day from Michael David winery called Earthquake.

Really good. Bought a bottle for this weekend.

$28, which is more than I like to spend, but oh well.

We also visited Round Pond! Loved there wines!! Their Sav Blanc was really good! The tastin room is an open air, 2nd story balcony overlooking their vineyards. Also, they own the only olive press in Napa....hence, they make amazing olive oil too!
