Biggest drew homer here.

but...

were you embarrassed watching his shenanigans yesterday? Was it necessary to be all zoned in with your tennis shoes and sweat pants/breaking huddles and shite? I know you got a routine down bud but damn that seems like you are attention seeking.

I love Drew, but he seemed like an attention whore doing that. He knew the cameras would pick up on that crap.

It screamed "LOOK AT ME!"

At least he's finally showing some passion

I just don't think he could help himself.

he has never missed a game so he didn't know what to with his hands lol.

While it may have been a little strange, I don't think any of us can fathom how difficult it must be for a competitor like him to not be able to play...

He has not missed a game as a Saint, and being 0-2 and having to miss a start has got to be painfully hard to accept....

So whatever helps him get through the grieving process and allows him to keep his mind right, I'm good with

this is truth. he wanted to be in that huddle so badly that he couldn't help but emulate and feel a part of it.

This is the same man that played a simulated game in his head during a bye week. Relax. It's just Drew. If the worst thing he does is act like he wants to be in the game more, I'll live with that.

The way he constantly licked his hands yesterday on the sideline when the camera panned on him was cringeworthy.

Breaking the huddle and clapping, sure.

Licking your fingers in street clothes?

It was at best goofy as hell.

It's okay, he's still our starting quarterback and loved by pretty much everyone in New Orleans. He won't suddenly vaporize into thin air if some of you don't knight for him 24/7. I promise.

I mean it's a pretty damn petty thing to have an issue with. He's always been weirdly intense and the ra-ra type. It is one of the reasons he's great.

Pathetic looks like the right word to me. I guess people really will bitch about anything. It was harmless and funny

No knighting really needed for Drew. His HoF career speaks for itself, I promise.

His sideline etiquette left alot to be desired good sir, he was not a proper gentlemen on that fine afternoon, and thus embarrassed us greatly.

Oh wait, that's right, I don't give a shite

Drew should have sat on the bench in a robe and mule slippers, nonchalantly reading a newspaper and smoking a pipe. That would have added a touch of quiet sophistication to an otherwise disappointing afternoon.
