I hate to tarnish anyone's reputation, but we have had a quarterback in the past who did not even pretend to be into the game, even though he was actually playing the game. And I believe we needed one victory in three games to make the playoffs? Drew Brees is a good problem to have, if you even call his "antics" a problem.

Hey he was just rooting for the backup to beat a team he has trouble beating!....Old saints timer here..... This saints team is bad all over. This is one freaking bad football team from the ownership down to the kicker. And I'm not saying the kicker is bad lol....... Nothing to see here move along to LSU

Why is all of a sudden a fan base dissing on the greatest player in saints history. He's got 2-3 elite years left. Enjoy them people.

Would you rather a smiling asshat like Aaron Brooks who didn't give two shits about the game or would you rather a guy like Drew who is obviously passionate about the game and his team. The man was taking mental reps and working on his timing. It does make a difference.

Exactly. Was it a little goofy? Sure. But this is the same guy who spent a day during the bye week in the 2006 season(IIRC) at the practice facility simulating a game by himself. It definitely wasn't a cry for attention.
