The new job is a lab setting with more hands on work, supporting only one facility. In current job, I am supporting several plants worldwide. I'm just sick of dreading every email.

It sounds like the company you're working for is a large company if you're supporting several plants worldwide; in that case it is their fault to not have a contingency plan in place if 1-2 employees leave in a short timespan. Would it be possible for you to write documentation for your replacement to follow?
