Where did I say the saints didn't pursue him or show interest in him? That's the opposite of what I've been arguing.

That was an explanation of one of the reasons it made sense for him to go to the Cowboys or Miami. It isn't an opinion exclusive to me either.

The difference is that I'm not claiming sources or that it is a fact like some in this thread.

I'm done with this topic. It's worn out.

That they didn't pursue him in a big way is not in question by evidence, but it appears that they may not have pursued him at all. Either way it is absolute stupidity on their part. If this didn't follow a pattern of stupidity and arrogance on their part regarding personnel decisions it wouldn't be such a big deal. Right now Peat and Collins should be our starting guards with Unger at center and Sreif and Armstead at tackles. Maybe we wouldn't be in the position we are in now with that lineup and this season wouldn't be over before it even started.
