If you call them, you are acknowledging and like others side, giving them fuel to run with.

Its a numbers game for those pieces of shite. Theres a reason they have had to pull out of a lot of cities. Less than half of the people who receive them pay. Do you really think that all of those people's credit is getting dinged?

If something shows up on you credit, simply call the agency, dispute the hit... The agency will ask Redflex to provide a promissory note and when they can't, they will remove it.

Not necessarily. You can call them and tell them you have no idea what the letter is about and ask them to substantiate the debt.

It's best to do it via certified letter though, so you have proof.


But that said, I would just ignore it and only take action if it ends up on your credit report.
