and see the crime articles/mugshots and realize that BR, a relatively good place to live not 25 years ago, is being eaten up like it has cancer? Shooting Perkins between on Essen and Bluebonnet especially pissed me off.

Options

Move to Switzerland ------> less crime

Move to Somalia ------> more crime

Stay in BR and stop complaining.

You have been informed it is now your responsibility to act.

I've never felt unsafe in BR. I don't worry about the rest.

Compare br crime stats from 25 years ago to now and see if your head doesn't explode. The early 90's were horrifically violent.

Don't be reactionary. Crime is at an all time low nationwide. We just HEAR about it more because we have a proliferation of news sources. Also newspapers are dying so they spend more of their copy on stories that pay i.e. bleeds it leads than on garden club stories.

It's why I no longer watch the local news. First several minutes usually involves some type of violent crime.
