I would say razor making companies and Harley Davidson would be a couple good examples

luxury items shouldn't count. You either have the money to waste, or you just shouldn't be buying. harley doesn't rip people off

can't argue with razors, but even gillette is starting to follow the dollar shave club model...which means dsc is changing the game

You don't have to shave or ride a Harley.

Car rental (insurance, fuel)
High end hotels (resort fees, internet, mini-bar)
Cable/satellite (low intro fees, maint fees)
AT&T/phone (bill needs Navajo code talkers to decipher)

All of their business models are based on deceiving their customer

Papa johns, Pizza Hut, dominos. Takes me probably 50 cents to make a large yet charge 16-20 for a large supreme.
