I know there has been numerous topics on this but im going to start another one. Im making an enclosed tailgaiting trailer and i am wonderfing how you go about satellite, is it as simple as getting a direct tv dish and a receiver from your house and hooking it up because i have a friend with the direct tv slimline dish that he doesnt use anymore

We caught CBS on an HD antenna this weekend.

We have an antennae for CBS and ABC games that works well in HD and then use iPhones for watch ESPN and put it up on the screen with apples HDMI adapter. It works but we would probably prefer a satellite once we procure more funds.

Pretty close to being that simple. I believe you'll need a guide for proper positioning of the dish but should be easy to find on the webz.

Yeah we have a directv dish and haven't had any issues. You need to ask someone around which way to angle it, though. This process can take a while but after the first try it isn't overly difficult. Good luck.
