All they had to do was get into field goal range with a time out in hand. It wasnt a bad decision with Charles. If it worked you all would be praising the decision.

If he breaks off a 25 yarder, then the strategy would change and they would have been playing for a FG.

It was minimal risk for minimal reward.

Yea, that isn't close to being true

And he doesn't need to break one for a TD...
