I haven't been to Vic & Anthony's in Lake Charles, but I have been to the one in Houston.
We were in town for LSU baseball at the Minute Maid Classic in March.
Mine was about 7.5/10. Good flavor, well seared, but too much fat/gristle for $68. Brussels sprouts needed more sear, too.
Service was 10/10!
There was an hour wait, but we were willing to sit at the bar so they sat us immediately.
We had LSU gear on, naturally, and everyone could not have been friendlier or more accomodating. The crumb guy was on duty and had his A-game going.
There was also a waiter from New Orleans who relocated after Katrina. He wasn't working our area, but he came over several times just to talk LSU and Saints. Maybe he worked at the Chalmette location of Vic & Antnee's.

the bone-in ribeye at the Houston location is up there as one of the best steaks I've had.

The Houston location was top notch. We had several waiters. Really a drink guy, bread guy, crumb guy.....

For those prices, service and food should be excellent.
