Why are Sione and Deondre not even dressing for this weeks game? Even if they got passed up on the depth chart that shouldn't keep them from dressing out should it?

Thats Ted Castillo, an ex Advocate reporter who's like 90. I guess they figure every week could be his last so they just let him ask away. His best question ever is below

Erin Andrews and hotel peeping toms

Thanks for posting. That's what I'd like to know, too. Why would they not dress or make the traveling squad? Was the original post made in jest?

I guess I'm missing it. Sione provided quality snaps last season at DT and DE as did Deondre. Are we processing them?

From memory and from knowing this sometime back - the visiting team can dress 70 players for an away game in the SEC. So some players on scholarship cannot dress if the team has maxed out their scholarship limit.

My guess is they are being disciplined for something. Even though Miles says no.

You are right. Getting passed on the depth chart doesn't mean you don't dress out. Walk-ons who have no chance of seeing the field dress out. It's gotta be off the field issues. If Les isn't saying it's academic issue then I'm guessing it's an issue that the university is required to handle confidentially.

so know we only have 4 dt's this year minus the walkons. Are we expected to give any walkons reps this year?

They have lots of people who aren't gonna see the field dressed out. What's the deal with this?

well, I hope when sione transfers that he doesn't take his brother with him.

man, you are weak. an apologist. if a kid transfers because he is disciplined he is a loser. simple. part of a football coaching staff's job is to help these kids mature into young men. that lesson will remain for the kids whole life. do you have a father? did not he try to instill discipline in you? did you cry and run away from home when he did?
you obviously don't have a son. if so, you must be an awful parent.

Very thin on the DL. I don't know what is up with Mickey and really wasn't expecting him to contribute. At DT LSU is left with Davin and Loc as starters and then Gilmore and Herron that have done very little to this point.

The DEs are more puzzling. Teuhema and Clark both played last year as true FR. This must be a discipline issue. I did read where Key and Washington were running as 3rd and 4th DE's, but then I read that Washinton was "nicked" and apparently didn't dress out for McNeese. This may explain Mile's comment that Key would play 2/3 of the game against McNeese. Then LSU has Patterson who has rarely seen the field and a bit undersized. This is very troubling for this season.

It sounds like a Coach O thing. Don't put in the effort, don't play. Not implying anything and don't know any insider info though. It just sounds like him trying to send a message.

It doesn't just keep them from dressing out it keeps them from making the travel squad. There are NCAA and SEC rules that dictate how many can travel with the team for away games. As someone else mentioned that number is 70.

It is just as plausible that they were passed up on the depth chart and didn't make the 70 as it is that they are being disciplined.
