I'm confused...why do you need to vent the generator? The big built-in generators are done so the CO1 doesn't draft back into the RV because they're mounted right under the front. Im not even sure if you are going to smell the exhaust on a generator that small if it's near your RV. I have EU6500is & I keep it within 15 feet of my RV/tailgate.

Campus regulations, have to be vented above the roof.

They do this b/c of so many generators in one place.

Carbon monoxide falls to ground level. Theory is with so many so close together it could be an issue.
