Yeah, TCU was sloppy, particularly in the middle of each half, but they opened the season on a Thursday night at what could be a pretty good Minnesota team. Yet, at what point did TCU ever really look like blowing it? Overall, they looked in control to me.
Unless Minnesota completely sucks the rest of the season, winning this game ugly could serve TCU better than a blowout in the long-run.

Everybody knows LSU is the only team not allowed to win its season openers in any fashion other than perfect blowouts!
