The fall class. I still keep in contact with the instructor, Mr. Patterson. He and I have been life long friends. He lives in Florida not far from Destin. His son still lives in Baton Rouge.

Ginger, I often took ladies rig diving. It was not big deal for us. We were there to have fun not compete with each other. I had very few rules on my boat, but they were important to follow. The ladies would comply better than many of the men. If they didn't spear fish that would be an extra limit of snapper for those of us who did. The wife of one couple could spearfish and operate a boat as good as any man. I would let her operate my boat before any other guy on board.
