think a honkie may have written this though. No spelling errors.

About 20 years ago a hpuse was burned down in Grosse Tete, and a certain racial slur was painted everywhere outside.

One problem, it was misspelled. Turned out it was the homeowner.

want's a "race war"....

I'm more worried about misuse of apostrophes (plural vs. possessive) than I am about a race war starting in Tiger Stadium on a Saturday night.

It ain't gonna happen.

BECAUSE THE WE'RE COLONIZED AND ENSLAVE BY EUROPEANS. That's like asking why blacks in America don't own bank institutions like J.P. Morgan when they were here in the late 1800's like whites.

Most of the great African empires fell due to in fighting, famine, the rapidly changing Sahara, and invasion by Arab Muslims, chiefly the Sultanate of Morocco. White Europeans capitalized on an already established slave trading system. They traded with larger African states who had enslaved their enemies. The Arabs enslaved and brutalized millions of more Africans then Europeans did. Millions more. Literally in country's like Ethiopia, a quarter of the country's population were enslaved Africans. It in no way excused Europeans, but what they did pails in comparison to the horrors the Arabs inflicted upon northern and Western Africa. Colonization did nothing but harm to Africa as well, but it doesn't excuse or explain the rise of monsters like Idi Amin, Prince Johnson, or Mobuto Sese Soko. Ultimately, everyone involved is deserving of blame in what large portions of Africa have become today. Europeans colonists, pre and post colonial African leaders, and Arabs all played a part in causing the social and economic disaster that parts of Africa are today.

Oh, and I'm still waiting on three technological advances from Sub-Saharan Africa.

Sub-Saharan Africans have an average IQ in the low 70s, that is by far legally retarded in the U.S., which is why they never had a 2 story building until recently when others started helping them out. In the 1900s while we had the Empire State Building and airplanes they didn't even have ONE 2 story building or ANY boat that could cross an ocean.

People like you help me keep faith in society. It's just amazing to me that so many people on this board think Africa just didn't develop like the rest of the world because they were lazy and dumb. People need to realize there is more history than just white history. Schools cover almost all aspect of history but that of Africa so many people are ignorant to it.

Oh notoriously poor countries that struggle with starvation and structured government struggles with western standards of education? You guys really don't get how dumb you sound.

Wow...that dude basically refuted your Neolithic level talking points and you think he's agreeing with you?

The person who couldn't name a single Sub-Saharan contribution?

No one denies that colonialism took its toll on Africa, but your assertion that it was in ANY way on par with the rest of the world is just bupkis.

And NO ONE said Africans were inherently lazy.

And I taught "African-American History" so I can assure you I know more about it than you.

The question is why it didn't develop.
I suggest you read (or attempt to at least) Jared Diamond's "Guns, Germs and Steel".

When you have everything you need what is the reason to evade and colonize other areas. That was the biggest difference in history between black and other races there was no want or need to colonize other areas and in the end it was their down fall.

I could name them I started ignoring the thread because I got tired of reading the racist shite. I didnt said he agreed with me he is just being informed unlike most poster here instead of making some dumb comment. I will read up on it I never said I was fully knowledged on it but when people on here are saying Europeans found africans and naked cannibals it leads me to believe they don't know about the coloniztion and the toll it did take.

So some idiot who is to lazy to work or do anything but smoke crack wrote smack on a bathroom wall and stirs up the op.

I been to South Africa and after the small group of greedy tribal leaders took over the farms from the English farmers the country doIng so well. One of my relatives is a real African who's father was English and mother was African and her fathers farm was taken from her. The tribal members didn't realize someone had to work the farm or it will not produce. Now the farm a pile of trash and that is reality.

She lives here now and as a real African keeps asking the so called African Americans where in Africa are you from. Yes, she speaks correct English, educated at a top English boarding school, and hates seeing these so called people call themselves Africans.

Colonization was hard on Africa, but not on the colonies that became the USA? According to you the largest continent with the most natural resources and the origin of civilization where "people of color were kings" while the Europeans were living in caves, just suddenly lost their shite and let everyone mistreat them. Not buying the race war on Saturday night or your failed logic. The truth is that slavery was the worst thing that happened to many people's ancestors yet the best thing that happened to them. Being a black man here is still far better than being one in the home continent. The Liberian experience is a failed example of repatriation, but with your knowledge base maybe you can make a difference.
Stay go I don't care but dispense with the whoa is me routine, it's tired.

If you could name them then do so. And sure, there may be some "racists" but most of the comments have just been refuting your arguments. Because some of the stuff (most of it) you are spouting is just flat out wrong!

Did anyone deny that colonization took a toll? But where was Africa before colonization? Shouldn't they have been at at LEAST the level of other civilizations around the world? Like the Incas or the Mayans?

And yes...when Europeans arrived, they did find nearly naked (not that it didn't make sense. Tropical weather doesn't require much in the way of clothes) tribes, some of whom were indeed cannibals, living in mud huts.

Some of those people are still pretty much in the same state today.

Are you saying that when the "evil white people" arrived the Sub-Saharan Africans had some sort of advanced society free of social ills and just a paragon of humanity?

I'm really intrigued as to where you got this worldview or who taught you these things.

You're really going to assume a black person wrote that? From the way that this board thinks about black people, i thought black couldn't spell? All of those words are spelled correctly.

How do we know that you didn't write that on the wall? And who hangs out in a nasty arse public restroom snapping pictures?

It's a shame that some posters get riled up and let this random restroom graffiti take this thread to 10 pages.

See, this is the kind of bulllshit that bothers me. You make jokes about the VERY EVIDENT disdain for education among the Inner City crowd (and we've all experienced the ones we're talking about) and somehow you warp it to how we "think all black people can't spell".

It's ridiculous. As if none of us know any intelligent black people. Or as if we don't rip on the mouth breathing redneck white trash types as well.
