Fred Jackson is 34, which is ancient in RB years. Maybe the Bills think he's lost a step.

Forte, Foster, AP, McCoy, Lynch all have more carries than he does.

Him and kyle williams are withiut doubt the leaders of that team. People are pissed because uses freddie like a mule and finally have a year in which a playoff spot is atleast being talked about and just cut our biggest locker room guy. He nevwr bitches about playing time and when they drafted marshawn and then cj he never complained he just outplayed them forcing himself into carries.

Hes gonna go to fricking new england and be an all pro now....ugh

33 is basically 50 whenever you're an NFL back and I think he still had close to 1000 all purpose yards last year.

I thought about posting that very same response. But then I realized it was very stupid, so I didn't.

The point is that every player is different. And NFL carries are like warranties. Either age or mileage gets you first.

but if Dunbar and McFadden split the load I think it will be a good situation.

But not even close to last years production..... Dallas takes a huge hit there.........

Not sure what your dad has to do with that. Is he Larry Csonka?

Fred was popular with Bills fans and a locker room leader so it's definitely a hit to the franchise.

Just looking at the depth chart tho it seems necessary. You can only have so many RBs.

I realize the NFL is a business, but surprised they didn't release him during the spring before FA so he could sign with a team that would use him, rather than cutting him a week before the season.
