LINK Yeah yeah I know, bleacher report. This just further proves that Brees is an awesome guy. I would say it was dangerous for him to do that but Brees probably has the most street cred in NOLA.

Not a bad walk and not a bad area. Seems like an awesome little stroll.

Did he stop by any Shell stations on the way back?

quote:

During the two-mile journey, which took about an hour, Brees got hungry and ordered a Jimmy John's sandwich on the way.

No way is this a promotional event.

Does he actually pay for the Jimmy Johns or just tip the delivery person?

Drew Brees should feel no danger walking down Nola streets

Looks like he walked right through Tulane's campus and then down Broadway. A real bummer, because I used to live exactly on that route.

Saints are practicing at Tulane. Don't they have a practice facility for that?

Some say he walked clean over a body of water to get there.

while they have had out of area thugs commit crime in the area recently, it's probably the safest (or next to lakeview second safest) area of the city. Plus no one would touch him. He's the new Archie Manning, that's for sure, even has the three boys close in age growing up in uptown.
