Wahhhh this movie is pushing an agenda I don't agree with, look at meeeee

A movie shouldn't push an agenda. Period.

I'm going to laugh when this movie flops and gets shite on by every reviewer out there. I'm sure the SJW morons will claim sexism.

so you're saying filmmakers shouldn't be allowed to make the kind of movie they think is best for a particular story?

who would you have enforce such a rule? the government?

Critics are too busy circle jerking over Paul Fieg. The reviews will be in the 90% range.

As far as the political stuff, who really gives a shite. Let them do what they want, I say. That's their business.

ehh his last 3 movies have done well w/reviews and the box office

Bridesmaids - 90% RT w/84% audience score, $169m domestic w/a ww total of $288m on a $32.5m budget

The Heat - 65% RT w/71% audience score, $159m domestic w/a ww total of $229m on a $43m budget

Spy - 94% RT w/84% audience score, $110m domestic w/a ww total of $234m (and counting) on a $65m budget

Seems like the combo of MM and Feig alone should be able to pull $230m in. Add the Ghostbusters franchise name and unless the reviews are horrid w/terrible previews this film is probably a lock to make $350m plus.

Using the brand they didn't build to push an agenda is just cheesy

Making a movie is a business enterprise. If they think an all woman movie will kill it in the box office, they'll take advantage. Kudos to them.

Did you like the movie John Q?

That's just one off the top of my head that pushed an agenda big time
