Does anyone have film of the 1970 LSU-Notre Dame game

I remember that one well as a kid listening on the radio. I believe that was the only LSU-ND game not on TV of the eleven they have played.

WTF? I was at that game and Al Coffee didn't lose that game. It was a bullshite interference call on Tommy Casanova that set up Notre Dame's winning field goal. We got mugged by the refs. Notre Dame was #1 and LSU #7 going into the game. The Sunday morning Chicago Tribune headlines said "If Notre Dame is #1, LSU is #1a. I can tell stories about that trip for hours.

On the play before the field goal a sure interception bounced off Casanova's chest. One of the few bad plays he made at LSU. With regard to the film, the game was not on TV. I was 12 years old and remember listening to the game on radio with my friend who was Tommy Casanova's cousin. We were heartbroken. We got them back the next year though. There may be a film because all ND games were replayed on Sunday morning with Lindsey Nelson doing the call.

George Bevan was a senior in 1969. He did not play in that game.

I did hear he dropped a 60 yard bomb from Jones that would have been a sure TD. I have no credible evidence of this, just old stories of my Dad and brother talking about it. Dad was there, brother listened on the radio.

I have the coach's film from Notre Dame along with the radio broadcast. Bought it for my father when he retired about 10 years ago. My dad sacked Theisman twice in that game.
The film is cut and shows play after play after play without commercials or stoppage of game play. No sound.
The radio broadcast is the full game but it's the ND announcers.
