It's a trip to upstate NY in the early fall in a new environment in a game the Tigers should look very, very good in. It will also either be a bounce back game after a couple of tough opponents or another matchup on television that sends the Tigers headed for the playoff race.

My question to you is how are you NOT excited about this?

I'm not excited because:

Upstate New York is pretty Meh to justify a trip.
LSU looking good against Syracuse doesn't really mean anything.
This game has no impact on whether LSU makes the playoffs unless they lose and if they lose, the playoffs would be the least of their worries. There is no upside.
I'd rather have a team with more national recognition to generate more hype.

I understand why some people are excited and that's great. I even floated the idea to our tailgate crew and not one person was interested.
