Did the baton rouge list thread get axed while I was at lunch?

You fricking douche, they whacked a thread featuring the link, which is a big difference than posting it in a post in a thread, it's virtually public info that even sites like Forbes are providing links to. AND you quoted the forbidden link yourself.
Please explain this big difference you're talking about. I'd like to understand what it is.
Also no other major news site is linked to a database or excel sheet of names/info none

Yes it did but the link is posted on the page before this one.
Edit: That poster edited it out now

I am sure they will have a list for my area code at some point. But I don't even think I care to see it. All this does is destroy families. Maybe some on there didn't cheat and were just curious. Maybe some cheated one time and never again. Who knows, throwing peoples names out there without any evidence of what they might have done is reckless.

Yea, you aren't on the list at all

There's a big difference between something being posted in a post in an otherwise generic thread and a thread featuring the content in title and OP. It's a bit of a grey area, but you see it enforced that way pretty consistently.
Forbes published the torrent link. That's pretty close to the same thing. I think a few other sites did as well.

Someone can easily swipe your CC info.
Just b/c your name and email is on the list doesn't necessarily mean you yourself signed up.
It's kinda like when your wife has to take penicillin b/c you got a kidney infection.
Same deal.

It's not a death sentence. For those checking on their SOs it's a clue not the end fact, something to investigate further. Kind of like finding a strange phone # on their phone. Assuming I understand the issues correctly, that is.

Do you regularly have to go through your SO's phone? Then investigate any number you don't recognize? Sounds like you're an awesome dude in a great relationship.

It's funny how so many people support the hackers just because "they aren't on the list"
Take the morality issue out of the equation here...
You people are condoning the illegal distribution of private data. I'm sure you'd think about this differently if your information was stolen from your favorite adult website. What if you do online banking (as many people do) and that information was stolen and handed out to every criminal on the dark web?
By supporting this crime you are opening the world up to more and more hacking. These people need to be prosecuted and put in jail. Let the people who choose to cheat and do other morally wrong things deal with the consequences in their own privacy with their spouses.

When, in the frick, did I state anything about me myself doing? I was explaining it in response to the post. Dumbass.
