Could you do something like that if it was 5 feet off the ground? If you don't have a physical disability, you probably could. The fact that it's a thousand feet in the air is all in your head. That guy has managed to compartmentalize the fact that a mistake will kill him instead of giving him a minor bruise.

Not entirely. Something like that would sway back and forth just like a bridge but much worse. That and the wind up there would make it more difficult than doing it five feet off the ground.
